These are some of our other dogs.

Even though we raise miniature pinschers, we love other dogs, and breeds.

We work the border collies on cattle, and the pyrenees isn't just a cuddle

bug, she is also protection for our minpins so the coyotes don't eat them.

This is Piper. Our great pyrenees.

About 8 months old in this photo.

Try and Spice taken Oct of 2005.  Try still shows a little puppy at over one year old, and Spice at three months was being all puppy.  Both are ABCA registered border collies.

Finlay and Rosetta. Our old poodle mix makes such a lovely nanny for our puppies.

Rosetta, aka Ooby, turned 15 years old this fall.

Ooby passed on last spring, 2005.  She would have been

sixteen this year.

Mick

Dec.21,2003, Mick , the heeler (mix?) we picked up along the road died of an illness.  We had enjoyed her antics for almost ten years, but thought we would have more time with her.  Mick was a good worker, and a character through and through.  She had a wicked sense of humor.

SPICE

Spice at approx. 6 months.  She is turning into a real beauty, and a good listener.  Hopefully she will decide that she is a cowdog when she is old enough to go to work.

Zip and Wyatt.  Zip is a blue heeler aka australian cattle dog.  They are just heelers around here.  Zip is turning into a good working dog.

Mab. Retired cowdog. Life is pretty rough.

Mab is "famous" at the local vet's office as the snake dog.  She was in there a couple of years ago, right after retirement, for biting the head off of a rattlesnake.  But the snake bit too, and Mab lost part of her tongue.  Will she now leave snakes alone?  NO.  She is worse than ever about trying to kill snakes.  Mab is no longer with us.  She got sick last summer, and finally succumbed.  1996-2008.  A good friend, and pleasant and nearly constant companion.  I miss her.
